Ebru Köksal

Ebru Köksal, CFA is a Board Member and Business Development Director at J. Stern & Co., responsible for client relationships and football industry initiatives. She began her career in corporate finance at Morgan Stanley in New York, later holding senior roles at Citibank Turkey and AIG’s private equity fund before moving into football management with Galatasaray, where she became CEO and was named Executive of the Year by the Stadium Business Awards in 2011. Ebru was the first woman elected to the Executive Board of the European Club Association and the first female General Secretary of the Turkish Football Federation. She now serves on multiple international sports boards and is Chair of Women in Football, a global network advocating for gender equality. Her contributions to sport and leadership have been recognized with the Harvard Business School Making a Difference Award (2018) and the Leaders in Sport Trailblazer Award (2024). She is a graduate of Brown University and an alumna of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
